Frequently asked questions

Yes! The designs wash off completely with the washable markers we include. Just wait 24 hours after coloring, then toss them in the washing machine. The paint may bleed a bit during the first wash, so wash the pajamas separately that first time.

Important: The pajamas are regular fabric. If you use permanent markers instead of our washable markers, those designs won't come off. Our included washable markers are specifically designed to wash out completely, letting your child create new artwork every week!

Wash in cold water without detergent (or use a color-protecting, phosphate-free detergent if you prefer). Don't wash with other clothes. Turn the pajamas inside out before washing, and skip the fabric softener. Once they're clean, your kids can color them all over again!

Nope! The markers included with our colorable pajamas are non-toxic, washable, and completely safe for children. They meet all safety standards for kids' products, so you can let your little ones create without worry.

If left on the fabric for too long, some ink can seep through to the skin. But don't worry - the markers used are non-toxic and safe for kids. Any ink that does transfer will wash off easily with soap and water. If your child has sensitive skin, we recommend letting them color the pajamas first, then wearing them once the ink has dried.

This is a great question we were asked initially when starting SnuggleSprouts!

Kids are actually pretty good at understanding context when you're consistent with them.

"You can color on your special pajamas" becomes a clear rule, similar to how they learn "we can jump on the trampoline, but not on the couch."

The thing is, that creative impulse exists whether they have colorable pajamas or not. Without an appropriate outlet, many kids will test boundaries on walls, furniture, or regular clothes anyway.

The pajamas just give them a place where creativity is fully encouraged, which often makes it easier to guide them about where markers don't belong.

Many parents find their kids actually understand the difference because the pajamas are special and designated for coloring.

When there's a clear "yes" space for their creativity, the "no" spaces tend to make more sense to them.
